Sunflower Daze is a powerful homage to the real thing. I begin by sketching out a one-layer sunflower, then create three different sizes of that sketch. After applying the images to sterling silver, I etch the surface texture in. Once done, I saw the three layers out, then hammer and shape each leaf. After soldering the three layers together, I form and texture the middle; then 5 lovely honey topaz stones and embellishments are soldered into place to complete the piece.
