Pelican musings, floating and pondering. The image from an original photo is transferred to sterling silver and etched. After cleaning, the pendant is hand-sawn out of the silver sheet, smoothed and shaped with files. A bail to hang from is created and soldered in place. After cleaning and polishing, patina is added to enhance the texture in the piece.
