PinWheels Earrings

The underside of a mushroom can be a beautiful thing. Etched with that image, these PinWheel earrings are totally unique.

Once I transfer the image to sterling silver, it is etched until a good depth is reached. I then saw them out by hand, file the edges and clean and polish. The next step is create the bezels for the Rainbow Obsidians, and then solder them in place. After clean-up and polishing, I set the rainbow Obsidian stones, and add some patina to emphasize the lovely depth. A final clean and polish and some sterling ear wires complete these PinWheels.
